Tarpey Insurance Group is now A World Company
Tarpey was established as a family-owned and operated insurance agency. James J Tarpey took ownership of the agency in 1979. Jim began his insurance career over 60 years ago as an underwriter for Royal Insurance. Jim was recruited to the agency in 1968 and still contributes to the daily workflows of the agency. All five of Jim’s children: Mike, Liz, Jim, Mark, and Steve joined the agency during Jim’s tenure as CEO. Over recent years, Mike has retired, and several grandchildren and family members have joined the Tarpey Organization.
